Policy Statement

The college values a welcoming and transparent learning and working environment where individuals are expected to behave in a professional manner.  Honesty, conscientiousness, responsibility, and a spirit of collaboration are hallmarks of this expected behavior.  As it relates to the demonstration of professional behavior, all individuals are accountable for the outcome of their actions.

Collaboration is essential to providing high-quality learning experiences and services for students and our community.  Team work, inclusivity and courteous behavior are essential.  Supportive interpersonal relationships and a willingness to entertain new ideas and differing opinions will assist in achieving common goals.  Within the college, all must feel safe and trust that they are treated in an ethical and equitable manner.

To this end, the College’s Senior Leadership is directed to develop, implement, and continuously improve collaborative and inclusive processes aimed at ensuring professional behavior is demonstrated throughout the college, and specifically modeled by its faculty, staff and administration.
