Applying for Aid
At Shawnee Community College, we provide a quality education to a diverse student body that is accessible, affordable, and promotes life-long learning.
SCC’s Financial Aid Advisors will guide you through the financial aid process and provide assistance with understanding grant, scholarship, private alternative loan, and federal work-study opportunities along the way. The Financial Aid Office is a resource to help you make college affordable.
Students should apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year beginning October 1. Some forms of student aid have limited funding and we encourage students to submit the FAFSA to Shawnee Community College in a timely manner.
