Agenda and Consent Agenda
The Board approved the agenda and consent agenda which included approval of Regular Board meeting minutes from December 18, 2025, Board Retreat Minutes of January 15, 2026 and Special Board meeting minutes of February 2, 2026; the treasurer’s report; ratification of December 2025 and January 2026 bills; the personnel report; the approval of a lease agreement for office space in the Alexander County Extension Center; termination of a lease agreement at Rustic Campus; adoption of the academic year 2027 college catalog, approval of the Fall 2025 graduates; endorsement of the ICCTA Faculty of the Year Nominee and the approval of the Collective Bargaining Team.
Tenured Faculty Reemployment
The Board approved the continued employment of the tenured faculty members for academic year 2027.
Non-Tenured (Probationary) Faculty Reemployment
The Board approved the employment actions presented for non-tenured, probationary faculty for the 2026-27 academic year.
FY27 Tuition & Universal Fee Rates
The Board approved the proposed tuition rate, universal fee, and high-cost program fee for FY27, effective Summer 2026.
FY27 Course Fee Rates
The Board ratified the FY27 course fee rates as presented, effective with the Fall 2026 semester.
Financial Aid Service Agreement
The Board approved the continuation of contractor services.
Administrative/Employee Related
The Board was introduced to Kendra Parker, Administrative Assistant, as well as Samantha Wilcox, Welding Instructor. The report noted the transfer of Kristien Basler to the position of Administrative Assistant; Jordan Curtis to the position of CBE Success Coach; Tyler Dixon to the position of Director of Educational Talent Search; and Dr. Kristin Shelby to the position of Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness. Dr. April Dollins will receive a stipend for her interim appointment as Director of Nursing. The Board ratified the part-time hires. Previously approved full-time and part-time vacancies were also listed.
