Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTA W), also known as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, is a precise welding technique renowned for the high quality of its welds. Tig is favored for applications requiring precision and cleanliness lending it to applications in aerospace, automotive, maintenance, repair, art and sculpture. This certificate can be completed in a single semester since the courses in this certification are mostly delivered in the competence-based education modality.
