Student Ambassadors

The Shawnee Community College Student Ambassador program is a scholarship opportunity for incoming or current SCC students. This program allows students to represent SCC within our buildings, as well as out in our communities. In exchange for a scholarship, the Ambassadors will attend SCC events, as well as community events, including but not limited to: Sporting events, parades, blood drives, local community meetings, ect. The Ambassadors also attend a weekly leadership class in order to build leadership skills and qualities that will benefit them within their position and for future career opportunities.

Ambassadors are selected through the scholarship application process. After applying, applicants are interviewed by the Ambassador sponsor, as well as current Ambassadors. Once this has been completed, selections are made. Our Ambassadors are a vital part of the college and we look forward to watching them as they succeed both at SCC and in life!
