This certificate program is designed to provide Esthetic students with the basic knowledge and industry standard entry level skills required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations for licensure.
A minimum of 850 contact hours and 32 semester hours of college credit are required for the completion of this program. The Esthetics program is 2 semesters and will be offered each Fall with completion each Spring.

Becoming an esthetician can lead to many different career paths, including employment at salons, spas or resorts. Licensed professionals can also serve as manicurists, pedicurists, makeup artistry or even salon and spa managers.
